COMMUNICATOR

Gina Tricot is now looking for a skilled and driven Communicator responsible for managing our press and media communication. The role is central to strengthening Gina Tricot's brand, ensuring quick and professional handling of press inquiries, and contributing to a clear external voice in the media.

As a communicator with us, you will work closely with marketing, sustainability, and management functions. We are looking for someone with experience from similar roles – preferably within fashion and retail, where the pace is high and the media landscape is changing.

As a person, you are proactive, curious, and keep yourself updated on current media trends. The role requires you to easily build relationships and represent the brand professionally. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and unpretentious, and you thrive in an environment where the pace is high and the workdays vary.

Your Responsibilities

·         Manage and prioritize incoming press inquiries via the press email.

·         Write, produce, and distribute press releases and editorial material.

·         Be a point of contact for journalists and media actors – build, nurture, and develop media contacts.

·         Advise internally on media communication and messaging.

·         Ensure that press materials and brand information are current and correct.

Qualifications

·         Relevant education in journalism, communication, PR, media, or equivalent.

·         Experience working in a press, communication, or PR role – preferably within fashion, retail, or e-commerce.

·         Excellent ability to write in Swedish and English – quickly, accurately, and tailored to the target audience.

·         Strong communicative judgment, ability to prioritize, and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.

·         Structured, self-driven, and comfortable handling press inquiries with tight deadlines.

·         Meritorious: experience working with media monitoring, press tools, or editorial work.

ABOUT THE POSITION Employment form: The scope of the position can be adjusted, and we are open to dialogue regarding full-time or part-time depending on the right candidate, a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period.

The position is based at our headquarters in Borås.

You will report to the Head of HR and work closely with colleagues across the organization. ABOUT THE PROCESS We will call for interviews continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. In the final stages of the recruitment process, a background check will be conducted to ensure a fair and safe recruitment process.
